Are we there yet ?

Here is the text of my address which I gave at the Stantonbury Partnership service on Advent Sunday 2020. The service was livecast from St Andrew’s church and meant for the whole Partnership and our friends everywhere to join in.

ST JAMES REOPENING

Our Co-vid group met last Saturday to discuss the relaxing of restrictions and the decision was taken to move towards full opening slowly and carefully in view of the rising infection rates, even though the Government has removed most legal restrictions.

The main changes at this time are the option to remove face coverings once seated, although still required when moving about the building, and the congregation will now be permitted to join in the singing of hymns.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding during what has been and continues to be a difficult time.
