Farewell to Dave Bell
The congregation of St James said farewell to the Rev’d Dave Bell on Sunday 8th August.
The occasion was an Open Door service in which going on a journey was explored from the entourage taken by Abraham when he began his journey with God to Jesus instruction to the disciples to take “nothing for the journey except a staff.” Dave shared with us all the things that were in his travelling bag; memories, challenges, the knowledge that God does things in his time not ours.
