Seems like the Tuesday evening spot is now taken by the Street Preachers – following a report on Monday from one of our customers,  it appears that the Tuesday evening run is now being covered regularly with similar meeting places and times to the Woughton and Stantonbury runs.

Maybe it’s time to think about another evening or weekend if possible to provide even more support. It would be nice to conduct a poll among the customers to see what is best for them and then try to fill the need, and then ask for some volunteers..

Anyone from the Woughton Group who’s reading this, please ask when you’re out and about and feed back to me here.

It’s been a funny old week. We managed to find the Wolfmans lair with the assistance of a very helpful security guy, although no sign of the celebrity himself.

We also had news from our regulars that somebody has been covering the soup run on Tuesday evening, or at least, they had last week.

So I decided to go and have a chat with them to find out what’s going on and to make sure that we are kept in the loop and don’t duplicate effort.

No show …Not a soul, so I can only assume that it was a fluke..There was a Street Preachers Van parked up but having staked it out for half an hour I gave up..

Anyway, hopefully our new contacts at the Sri Sathya Sai Organisatin who have expressed a very firm interest in joining us with the soup run will be able to take up the challenge.
