Seems like the Tuesday evening spot is now taken by the Street Preachers – following a report on Monday from one of our customers,  it appears that the Tuesday evening run is now being covered regularly with similar meeting places and times to the Woughton and Stantonbury runs.

Maybe it’s time to think about another evening or weekend if possible to provide even more support. It would be nice to conduct a poll among the customers to see what is best for them and then try to fill the need, and then ask for some volunteers..

Anyone from the Woughton Group who’s reading this, please ask when you’re out and about and feed back to me here.

Due mainly to the success of the Monday night runs and the superb response from volunteers, we have decided to ‘run another day’.

Our thoughts are to start up a tuesday evening run – this will then cover every week day except thursday, but as this is the day that support is given lunchtime at Conniburrow it’s not quite so important.

For the time being, I will be covering both monday and tuesday evenings. Anybody that wants to offer assistance for Tuesdays – well, you’re more than welcome.

You’re all aware of how cold it has been for the last few months, and there’s no sign of it getting any better in the near future.

Our customers have a hard time finding somewhere warm to curl up and any warm clothing, especially hats , gloves and scarfs and socks are particularly welcome.  Also Duvets and blankets are always needed – no sleeping bags please as they can be hard to get in and out of.

If you’re clearing out your wardrobe and come across anything like this, especially in mens medium and large sizes..please drop me a mail and I’ll arrange to collect them.
