Mrs Joyce Swannell  is presented with a certificate from the Methodist Church celebrating over 70 years of playing the organ in church. Joyce also played for some of the services in St James when the two congregations joined together.

A joyous Mindy after being presented at conference

Sunday , 6th July 2008, was the day Rev’d Mindy Bell, Methodist minister in the Stantonbury Ecumenical Team with particular care for the Methodist members of St James, New Bradwell, was to be ordained. It was also the day that Richard Becket, of Woughton Parish was to be ordained deacon. I was thrilled to be invited!
