This question has been asked and I blame the ecumenical set up! The services I have conducted haven’t contained straight forward sermons; the morning worship I did at a local Methodist church had the Beatles and Pink Floyd but the words of wisdom were interwoven – lost to obscurity! Then we had the Open Door service where we don’t have a sermon. However, I have put up a sermon for today and next week there should be two! But the week after…..GREEN BELT!
