Ann Harris shared MK Mission Partnership's post to the group: St James Church, NB.
Ann Harris

The latest newsletter from MK Mission PartnershipOur April Newsletter is now available on our website.

John writes:
“Whenever I approach Holy Week and Easter, I am moved by the story of Jesus in Gethsemane. At what is the critical moment for Jesus in preparing for what is to come, he expresses a need to pray and asks his friends to be with him. The path before Jesus is one that he must tread alone: it will be a terrifying and very lonely journey. So in Gethsemane, even though he will pray alone, he wants company.…”

John reflects on Jesus’ sense of loneliness – the theme of our recent Assembly, where we looked for ways in which we might be able to play some part in addressing this problem in MK.

Do read the newsletter to hear some of the ideas that came up at the Assembly – and if you want to talk an idea through or develop something, please do contact John or approach your church leadership. Let’s see what we can do!

We are very sorry but we are cancelling Tiddlers this Wednesday 14th March. There are health and safety issues associated with the installation of the new lighting system and the church will not be safe for children this week.
The next Tiddlers will be after Easter on Wednesday 11th April. We look forward to seeing you then in a much brighter church!
Please can you pass on this message to any you know who may be affected by this especially those who may not be on Facebook. Thankyou.
